Dodram Pig Farming Cooperative (Chairman Park Gwang-wook) organized a gathering of harmony to look back on its history of growth and share its future vision with its members to mark its 36th anniversary.
Dodram announced that it held the ‘Dodram Forest Festival,’ a celebration of its 36th anniversary, at the Forest Wedding Park in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province on the 7th, with approximately 350 people in attendance, including members, their families, and employees.
Held under the slogan "Dodram Grown Together, Future to Bloom Together," this event departed from the traditional ceremony-centered format and was conducted as a festival where members could directly participate and interact. The focus was on strengthening the bond between members and employees through a ceremony, participatory programs, and musical performances.
At the center of the event stood the ‘Dodram Hope Tree,’ symbolizing Dodram’s past and future. The establishment of the Icheon Pig Farming Cooperative 36 years ago was likened to a single seed, while the process of growth through the expansion of the business base and the participation of members was represented by the roots and branches of a tree.
In particular, members participated in the ‘Tree of Hope Performance,’ completing a tree by writing their individual stories and hopes for the future on leaves. This symbolized that the collective growth of each member drives the sustainable development of Dodram.
An interview program was also organized to share the experiences and opinions of the members. Participants discussed their time with Dodram, memorable moments, and hopes for the future, reflecting together on the cooperative's past journey and future development direction.
In addition, the ‘Forest Mission,’ consisting of ‘Catch the Can Don,’ the ‘10.09 Second Challenge,’ and the ‘Putting Zone,’ was conducted. Members who completed the three missions were awarded Dodram Mall mileage, aiming to promote the use of Dodram Mall while providing the enjoyment of participation. The event concluded with a ‘Forest Concert’ attended by the participants.
Park Gwang-wook, Chairman of the Dodram Pig Farming Cooperative, said, “This year’s founding anniversary event was organized as a festival in which members directly participate and create together,” adding, “It was a meaningful time to look back on our history with the members and envision the future.”
He continued by emphasizing, “The fact that Dodram, which started as a small seed 36 years ago, has been able to grow into the big tree it is today is thanks to the efforts of all members and employees, as well as the unwavering trust of consumers,” adding, “Moving forward, we will continue to bear new fruit together with our members and build a Dodram where individual growth comes together to form a larger forest.”
